Shine At Home

Read Leviticus 23:33–43 and Deuteronomy 16:13–15. God told the people to celebrate together—with their sons, daughters, servants, strangers, orphans, and widows. Who do you like to celebrate with?
Pray for creation. Name as many fruits, vegetables, and grains as you can. Thank God for providing food. Use one of the meal prayers on page 344 in The Peace Table at each meal this week, or write your own prayer to a simple song like “Mary Had a Little Lamb.”
Sing and dance to your favorite songs as you wave ribbons or streamers. The people waved palm branches in joyful celebration during the festival.
